Transport planning

Stéphane Pietrzak Reading Outside
To sum up transport planning in a few words would be impossible, but one thing is certain: I can honestly say I have found the ideal job!

A French student graduating from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne with a MSc in Transportation Planning Policy, I was keen to further my immersion in the UK with a job/career in transport.

Assessing the impact of a hospital redevelopment on a rural town network, predicting catchment areas of recycling centres and producing a transport assessment for the extension of a London hotel are some of the projects for which I've been given great autonomy on. I organise my work, whether with calculations, writing reports or liaising with clients and other stakeholders.

Transport planning has fulfilled all my expectations since it offers versatility and develops a range of personal skills. It encompasses such a wide range of activities that since starting as a graduate transport planner at Mott MacDonald. I’ve never been bored!

I would wholeheartedly recommend the Mott MacDonald graduate scheme to anyone seeking to embark upon a promising career in transport planning.
