Quantity surveying
I graduated from the University of Wolverhampton
with a BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveyor in May 2005 when I
left University. I recognised the importance of selecting a good,
reputable and internationally renowned firm to begin my
professional career as well as the need to pass the Assessment of
Professional Competence and become a full member of the Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors. With this in mind, I joined
Franklin and Andrews in July 2005. As well as being one of the top
firms in my chosen field, Franklin & Andrews can offer me the
necessary experience in all aspects of traditional quantity
surveying as well as the contemporary working practices required to
meet our client needs. As present I am working on Princes Dock, a mixed use residential development, with a team of Quantity Surveyors in our London office. My roles as part of the team include cost planning, measurement, life cycle costing and cost control throughout the life of a project.
My experience at Franklin and Andrews has allowed me to expand my previous knowledge and get involved in a wide range of diverse and interesting projects.
Not only is the work here at Franklin and Andrews challenging but also enjoyable.
