Project management

Philip Duarte
I've spent four years at Mott MacDonald as a tunnelling engineer and have very much enjoyed my time in this department. I've been involved in a range of jobs including the A3 Hindhead tunnel and (currently) Crossrail.

The senior engineers are down to earth and more than willing to come down to the pub after work for a drink. There is also a very good mentality in which you can get involved with pretty much whatever you wanted. If you feel things could be better, or you want to do something different, then you only need to talk to a senior engineer to get the ball rolling.

With Mott MacDonald being such a big company, they have first class training schemes to suit your needs as well as offices dotted around the globe. They have many opportunities to work abroad (just within our division graduates have been sent to Australia, Hungary, Iceland and Germany for periods ranging from two years to a few days). If it's a challenging, diverse and progressive career you want then Mott MacDonald tick all those boxes.
