Within the materials and corrosion team based in Altrincham I'm involved in a various projects including corrosion and cathodic protection engineering for a range of structures and concrete engineering from the casting process until degradation.

The job comprises inspections of several structures throughout the UK and their structural assessment regarding durability issues. Another major part is the design of cathodic protection systems for reinforced concrete structures.

In addition to its particular strength in material and corrosion services for the building industries, the materials and corrosion department offers complementary engineering support, input or advice in materials corrosion and cathodic protection for various group divisions for a wide range of projects world-wide.

Our specialised services are easily incorporated in multi-disciplinary projects contributing to Mott MacDonald’s attractiveness to clients in providing a complete service.
