Airports

Since joining the aviation division, I've worked on brand new international airport projects which have provided a diverse range of challenging projects on which I'm able to gain great work experience relevant to my interest and qualifications. Graduates in the team are given opportunities to grow and develop. Opportunities range from performing aircraft performance studies, designing taxiway layouts and producing small economic appraisals to managing work streams and small projects

The best thing about working for Mott MacDonald is the sheer range of projects you can work on. There are a wide variety of skills to learn. We provide a one-stop shop for aviation business clients, for which the Group not only recruits graduates with specialised aviation degree backgrounds, but also from various backgrounds. This helps graduates to expose their degree skills and learn from each other.

A typical day with the aviation team includes an array of work from economic appraisals, airport data analysis to aircraft performance and airport facility design. My interest and experience is in airport planning, but I'm gaining experience in aviation economics and strategy, which would get me wide variety of skills to get me chartered.

The management is very encouraging and supportive; above all I can whole heartedly recommend any potential graduate to join the aviation team if he/she is serious to embark on a challenging career.
