Bindiya Naran

Having enjoyed my degree in civil and environmental engineering, I wanted to get involved in projects where I could expand my knowledge in both fields. One of the main reasons I chose to work at Mott MacDonald was the fact that I’d be constantly learning through facing new challenges every day.

I’ve had the opportunity to work on my first major project – the Delhi Metro extension – where I’m contributing towards the detailed design stage. It’s exciting and challenging and I’m very much looking forward to seeing the whole project through.

Mott MacDonald also places great importance on corporate responsibility. It provides excellent opportunities for graduates to gain essential skills through getting involved in community projects. I recently went to a girls’ school for a careers fair, representing the company and engineering as a vocation. It’s great to be able to show young people the options that are available.

What I enjoy most about working at Mott MacDonald is the friendly working environment and the fact that you can approach anyone from any division for help. It’s great being part of a wonderful team!
