Since joining the Norwich Office I've witnessed considerable growth with new staff whom have many different backgrounds and cultures. Our office includes a healthy balance of vibrant young graduates, experienced engineers, transport planners and environmental scientists; creating a professional, friendly and adaptable atmosphere.

On 28 July 2008, our office’s growth continued to substantiate, with the opening of our second office (Thorpe Road) in the City Centre, to accommodate the bridges/structures teams and Franklin + Andrews Quantity Surveyors.

We support our strategic partners by providing engineering and environmental consultancy, as well as transport planning and modelling assistance to both small and major schemes. As a member of the Growth Point Team, my work centres around future infrastructure improvements to assist traffic flow in key outlined growth areas of Norwich, earmarked for the construction of new homes and communities development.

Aside from business, we have an active sports and social club who organise regular events. So far this year, some of the events I've been involved with include the Graduate Weekend, Lazer Quest/Group Meal, Karting, Canoeing/BBQ, Bell Boat Racing, the annual Sports Day.

Norwich is a prominent City with impressive parks, an established University, with a mix of modern and traditional architecture; the Cathedral and Norman Castle forming its focal points. The City boasts excellent transport facilities such as Norwich Airport International, train station and new state of the art bus station providing real-time information.

It also offers a lively nightlife; a host of pubs, clubs and restaurants, as well as excellent quality shopping malls for the weekend, and the largest open air market in England.
