Liverpool

Out For A Group Lunch
Liverpool is a thriving, vibrant city and it's an exciting time to be here. Chosen as the European Capital of Culture in 2008, the city has already seen increased investment and wide-scale development.

It’s a great place to live and work, everyone thinks they know Liverpool, but there’s more to us than the Beatles and football! It's about being one of the most energetic and creative cities in the UK. There are more museums, theatres and galleries on Merseyside than in any other region outside London. We are famous for great nights out, and that's not surprising with over 250 city centre bars, pubs and clubs. Going out in the city is not expensive, and the Liverpool crowds are eclectic, animated and extremely friendly. There are also green spaces when you want to get away from urban life, city parks are ideal places to spend lazy Sundays and there are several nature reserves within easy reach. Liverpool offers endless possibilities for everyone – you can be certain you'll enjoy your life at the very heart of our city.

In 2002 Mott MacDonald successfully took over the management of Merseyside Information Service which now forms part of the ITD sub-division. Our office is made up of several teams, transport, GIS, socio-economic and consultation. Just like the city we are developing, in the near future we will be expanding with a new team from the buildings and infrastructure unit joining us. Our office social activities vary from the monthly curry club to regular theatre visits. The Liverpool office is situated within the world heritage waterfront area, and is located in the iconic Royal Liver Building. We have fantastic views over the Cityscape, River Mersey and beyond – who could ask for more!
