Durham

Based in Meadowfield just outside Durham, our team work in association with the Newcastle office and has been in existence for a few years.

The office is primarily involved in water engineering, geotechnical and CDMC consultancy services. We are quite a small but expanding office (about 20 people) compared to some of the other Mott’s offices, which is great because everybody knows everybody else and there is a really good team atmosphere. It also means we work closely together and can become involved in all the various types of projects within the office. I’ve found this is a tremendous help in gaining valuable experience quickly.

Durham is a compact city yet offers a range of facilities. Much of Durham’s shopping area is closed to traffic, making for a more relaxed atmosphere. Within minutes, it’s possible to escape the bustle of this small but thriving city by taking one of the many paths that lead down to the riverbanks.

Outside of the office the sport and social committee organise events such as pub games night, paintballing, karting, bowling, meals out as well as a weekend in Manchester for the Group's annual sports day.
