Bristol

Mountain biking on a sports and social weekend away at the Gower PeninsulaThe first thing that strikes most people about Bristol is that it is a youthful city. The vast number of bars, restaurants, museums, music venues and theatres indicate how social and creative this city is all year round. Like London, Bristol is one of the more racially and socially integrated cities in the country. However, being in the West Country, it naturally has a more comfortable pace to life.

Mott MacDonald’s Bristol Office is located right in the centre of the town, adjacent to the vibrant Harbour area and ten minutes walk to the main shopping district and the train station. For those who like to get out of the city, Bristol has good transport links to most places. In less than an hour you can be over the Severn Bridge and into Wales, down at Cheddar Gorge in the Mendips or across to the beautiful countryside around the world heritage city of Bath.

Our sports and social committee is extremely active in arranging all sorts of popular subsidised events that everyone is encouraged to participate in from barbeques and theatre trips to active outdoor weekends.
